Beijing Yizhuang: Innovative Demonstration of "Multi-sensor Integration, Multi-pole Integration, and Multi-box Integration"

In the development process of intelligent transportation, a certain demonstration zone has achieved remarkable accomplishments. Its stage 1.0 and stage 2.0 have yielded fruitful results. It has successfully achieved full coverage of vehicle-road collaborative infrastructure in the 60-square-kilometer core area of Yizhuang and 329 intersections, which has laid a solid foundation for a series of subsequent intelligent transportation applications.

During this period, key efforts were focused on five major special construction tasks: "road expansion, cloud strengthening, network formation, vehicle connection, and map implementation". On the one hand, a multi-business system deeply integrating networked business and electronic police checkpoint business was constructed, enabling different sectors to work together to fully exploit the value of data and provide comprehensive support for traffic management decision-making. On the other hand, continuous efforts were made in the construction of intelligent infrastructure, achieving the innovative demonstration of "multi-sensor integration, multi-pole integration, and multi-box integration", which not only saved construction costs and space resources but also improved the operating efficiency of the system, making the urban road landscape more concise and orderly.

It is particularly worth mentioning that as the world's first city-level high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone, it has pioneered the creation of a "vehicle-road collaboration + intelligent traffic management" universal digital transportation infrastructure for the first time in the country, providing an ideal landing scenario for the development of the autonomous driving industry. Meanwhile, through the exploration of a sustainable construction model of multi-pole integration, multi-sensor integration, and equipment reuse, valuable reference experience has been provided for intelligent transportation construction in various regions. In addition, active exploration of innovative applications in traffic management has been carried out, such as intersection governance to optimize traffic order, green wave travel to reduce waiting time, and bus priority to ensure the efficiency of public travel. These intelligent applications have comprehensively empowered intelligent transportation, allowing citizens to enjoy convenient, efficient, and safe travel experiences.
